Uses:

Bromophenol blue sodium is mainly used as a tracer dye in electrophoresis to monitor the electrophoresis process and determine the endpoint.

As a pH indicator, the color will change from yellow to blue within the pH range of 3.0 to 4.6.

It can also be used for biological staining.
