Uses:

1. Laboratory applications

PH indicator: As a water-soluble acid-base indicator with a color range of pH 6.8 (yellow) to 8.2 (red), 

it is used to detect changes in the acidity or alkalinity of a solution.

Cell culture: Label the pH status of the culture medium (neutral turns red, acidic turns yellow, alkaline turns purple),

Biochemical testing: hydrogen peroxide detection (610nm absorbance method);

Liver function testing reagents; Microbial metabolic activity monitoring 

(such as color changes caused by ammonia production by urea degrading bacteria).

2. Medical field

Diagnostic reagents: auxiliary liver function testing and renal function assessment.

Hemostasis and anti-inflammatory: Compound preparations (such as phenethylamine) are 

used as adjuvant therapy for traumatic bleeding or chronic inflammation.

3. Industrial and Special Purpose

Optoelectronic materials: used as dyes in the design of photodiodes and fiber optic pH sensors.
