Uses:
1. Polymer materials
Rubber industry: As a key intermediate for anti-aging agents (such as manufacturing 6PPD),
it can effectively prevent rubber products (especially tires) from aging and cracking due to oxidation,
greatly extending their service life. This is its main consumption area.
2. Dyes and hair dyes
Oxidative hair dye: It is the core coloring component in permanent hair dye, which can react with oxidants to produce stable colors.
Textile dyes: used in the production of certain types of synthetic dyes.
3. Other fields
Used as a developer in black and white photography.
As a starting material for synthesizing other more complex chemicals.
