Uses：

1. Produce various spices such as eugenol, vanillin, and artificial musk.

2. Used for the synthesis of guaiacol benzenesulfonate and potassium guaiacol sulfonate.

3. Used as a local anesthetic or preservative.

4. It can remove phlegm and treat indigestion.

5. It is often added in small amounts as an antioxidant in cosmetics.

6.Because it reacts with oxygen and appears darker, guaiacol is also used as a dye.

7. It is also used as a raw material for organic synthesis and as a standard substance for analysis and determination.
