Uses:

1. As an efficient disinfectant and bactericide: Widely used for the disinfection of surfaces, instruments, 

    and skin in environments such as hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and households,

   it effectively kills various bacteria, fungi, and some viruses.

2. Used as a preservative in daily chemical products: Added to cosmetics (such as eyeliner, makeup remover), 

   wet wipes, hand sanitizers, and other products to prevent microbial growth and extend shelf life.

3. Core ingredient used in hand sanitizers and disinfectant gels: 

   It rapidly kills bacteria by disrupting the cell membranes of pathogens.

4. Used as a preservative in ophthalmic care products: Employed at low concentrations (typically below 0.01%) 

   in eye drops and contact lens care solutions to prevent contamination.

5. Used as a wound disinfectant and cleanser: For cleaning and disinfecting minor cuts and abrasions 

   to prevent infection (some band-aids and disinfectant sprays contain this ingredient).
